LET US CONTINUE TO DO THE WORK WE DO, BUT LET'S NOT ARTIFICIALLY SEPARATE THAT WORK FROM THE WORK OF OUR LIVES, THE WORK OF ENDING RACISM, THE WORK OF ENGAGING IN THE CREATION OF THE WORLD WE WANT TO LIVE IN, ACTIVELY, EVERYDAY."
CASEY LLEWELLYN, 'WHAT WE COULD DO WITH WRITING' IN THE RACIAL IMAGINARY, ED. BY CLAUDIA RANKINE, BETH LOFFREDA, MAX KING CAP (2016)
We are currently developing our programmes for winter/spring 2021/22.
From Autumn 2020 until Spring 2021, we met on a bi-monthly basis and underwent an awareness training with Dr. Emilia Roig from the Center for Intersectional Justice, Berlin.
In Spring 2021, we hosted a bi-weekly reading called #FridayForward open to all the participants of our training. This hour long event included a 30 minute reading from excerpts of a selection of authors tackling anti-racism texts followed by 30 minutes of collective discussion.
